Race and Property in Historical Perspective Series

offered conversations in 2020 about historical research and methods around the theme of race and property law. The series sought to bring together scholars whose historical research is leading the way in race and the law scholarship. Each of papers presented in the series pays careful attention to property law while illuminating themes of justice far beyond the field of property. Our conversations covered both the substance and methods of research at the intersection of race, law, and history.
